1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the MODEL T website (mod-t.com) and, once available, the MODEL T mobile application (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by MODEL T / Bruce Maidment (“we”, “us”).
By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. What MODEL T is
MODEL T is a digital strength coach being built to help people plan, follow and progress their strength training. The initial application is being built as a free product.
MODEL T is currently in development. Features described on this website describe what the product is being built to do, not necessarily what is available today.
3. Not medical advice
MODEL T provides training guidance for general fitness purposes. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified health professional. If you have a medical condition, are injured, are pregnant, or have any concern about whether strength training is appropriate for you, consult a qualified professional before starting or changing a training programme.
Exercise carries an inherent risk of injury. You are responsible for training within your own capabilities, using equipment safely and following the rules of the facility you train in.
4. Who can use MODEL T
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service.

5. No account required
The app does not require an account. Your information is stored on your device, so you are responsible for your device and for any data you delete or lose with it.
6. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- training within your own capabilities and seeking professional advice where needed;
- using equipment safely and following the rules of the facility you train in;
- the accuracy of any information you enter into the app;
- your device and any data stored on it.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- misuse the Service or interfere with its normal operation;
- attempt to access systems, data or accounts that are not yours;
- copy, resell or commercially exploit the Service without our permission;
- use the Service for anything unlawful.
8. Intellectual property
The MODEL T name, branding, website content and application are owned by us. You may not use our name, logo or branding without written permission.
9. Availability and changes
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend or withdraw parts of the Service at any time, particularly while the product is in development. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
10. Free product
The initial MODEL T application is being built as a free product. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will update these terms and make any pricing clear before you are charged.
11. Third-party services
The app may be distributed through third-party app stores, whose own terms will also apply to your download and use of the app.

How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Liability
